The Difference
Why It Cannot Be Machine Made
A machine can replicate a pattern. It cannot replicate a decision.
Every stitch is placed by an artisan reading the fabric as they go adjusting tension by feel, correcting density as the shape develops, matching one row to the last by eye. This is why two Delphi pieces, even in the same design, are never identical. It is also why the process cannot be rushed.

Honouring the Hands Behind Every Creation
At Delphi, artisans work in partnership with a team of skilled designers and tailors, translating traditional hand-crochet technique into the structured silhouettes Delphi is known for capes that hold their shape without a seam, bodices that fit without boning. Craft and construction, working together.
For many of these households, this work has passed through three generations mothers teaching daughters, daughters teaching their own.
What began as inherited skill has become inherited livelihood, sustained one order, one season, at a time.
To wear Delphi is to wear their hands, too.

Today, Delphi enters a new chapter under the creative direction of Nida Tapal, daughter of founder Nargis Kiani. Combining an appreciation for heritage with a contemporary global perspective, she continues to honour the values on which Delphi was built while introducing the brand to a new generation of women.
